From Cardiff, just keep heading west on the M4 heading for Neath, Swansea & Carmarthen. We are about 60 miles from Junction 33 at Cardiff.
Go to the end of the M4 motorway, at that roundabout take 2nd exit to Carmarthen on the A48 dual carriageway,
At next roundabout at Cross Hands take 2nd exit to Carmathen, still on A48 dual carriageway
When you reach Carmarthen, you come down a hill to the next roundabout, take 3rd exit signposted to Llandeilo A40 again dual carriageway. Go straight across next roundabout, following signs for Llandeilo A40, again dual carriageway.
Next roundabout take 1st Exit signposted Lampeter A485 – Dual carriageway (If coming via Wrexham, Newtown, Builth Wells, Llandovery, Llandeilo you will come to this roundabout where you need to take 3rd exit signposted Lampeter) Next roundabout, 1st exit signposted Cardigan A484, past the hospital Next roundabout 2nd exit signposted Cardigan A484
Follow this road for a few miles, then turn right signposted Llanpumsaint. There is also sign for the tourist Gwili Railway. Take care, as soon as you have turned right, the road bears sharp left. Go down the hill and over the railway crossings, and follow the road past the Hollybrook pub on your right. About half a mile further on, turn left, signposted Llanpumsaint. Up the hill – some sharp bends. Carry on this road until you come down a hill into Llanpumsaint. Take the first turning right – go over the little bridge, then turn right at the church. Pass the school on your left. Gwili Mill is the building next to the school on the left hand side. There is parking at the front of the building for about 4 cars, and also a car parking area at the back of the building for about 3 cars.
